Contributions to Class (the value you add to everyone's
learning: thoughtful questions, pertinent answers, insight,
logic, substance, and always courtesy - more than mere
attendance)

10% the Contribution component will have 2.5% deducted for each absence falling within the definition of excess (see below) |
Factoidal quizzes (on current reading, usually every 2-3 assignments or as needed; cumulative average) | 10% |
Collaborative performances and associated short essays (insight and effectiveness at communicating; cumulative average: performances, 7.5%, essays 12.5%) | 20% |
